Highland Park Village Shines Bright Like a Diamond

Did you know that Highland Park Village opened in 1931? It was the first outdoor mall in the nation and has served as the model for many to come. An architectural melange of Spanish, Mediterranean and Mexican styles, it houses upscale shops and restaurants populate the space, including Escada, Diane von Furstenberg, Robert Talbott, Anne Fontaine and Harry Winston.

Last week, Highland Park Village (HPV) hosted a holiday blogger event. I was honored to be amongst the invited bloggers to attend the event. Before sipping on delicious juices from Number One/Le Jus and enjoying bites created by Café Pacific’s chef, we sauntered around HPV enjoying their light display and found some perfect gift ideas and trends for the holiday.

From party dresses at Lela Rose to home decor at Five and Ten to stocking stuffers at LAFCO New York, there were plenty of things that caught my eye. Here’s some items that you’ll see on someone’s wish list or you might want to add to your own. 😉
